Margarita, But Make it Spicy: Pineapple Jalapeno Margarita

If the classic Margarita is your dependable BFF, this version of the classic is its fun & funky cousin who’s always the life of the party. Sweet, tart & fresh pineapple sets the tropical vibe, tequila keeps things smooth and classic and *drum roll* jalapeño brings the heat- but just enough to make you sit up and say, “Wow!” 

We promise, this will quickly become a crowd pleaser at your next house party. Bonus tip: swap out the salt with tajin on the rim & prepare for fireworks!

Ingredients

  • 45 ml Pineapple Rosemary Shrub
  • 60 ml Tequila of your choice
  • 15 ml Orange Liqueur
  • 15 ml Lemon Juice (to taste)
  • Jalapeno Slices (to taste)

Steps

  • Muddle 1-2 slices of jalapeno in a cocktail shaker.
  • Add all of the other ingredients. 
  • Add ice and shake hard for 10 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  • Rim the glass with salt/tajin & with a pineapple slice & rosemary sprig
